Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. - The 2016 volleyball season came to an end for The Evergreen State College on Saturday with a three-set Cascade Collegiate Conference defeat to the host Warner Pacific Knights at C.C. Perry Gym.
Evergreen (5-22 overall, 4-16 CCC) finishes the conference campaign in a tie with Multnomah for ninth-olace, while the victory locked up the final seed in the conference tournament for the sixth-place Knights (11-12, 9-11).
The Geoducks finsihed with 38 total kills and a solid .274 team attack percentage, including a .440 mark in the final set, but it wasn't enough to overcome Warner Pacific, which had 42 kills and a .392 attack mark.
Natalie Taylor led Evergreen with 11 kills, while senior middle hitter
Jorden Porter finished her collegiate career with nine kills and no errors in 12 attempts for an outstanding .750 attack percentage. Senior setter
Kylie Kytan also played her final collegiate match, recording 15 assists.
Warner Pacific's Janessa Mast led all players with 12 kills and Kealia Rosa finished with 39 assists.
