2016 All-Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Soccer
Loren Switzer (Olympia, Wash./Capital HS) has been a stalwart defender for the Geoducks women's soccer team throughout her four years at The Evergreen State College, and she was rewarded with selection to the 2016 All-Cascade Collegiate Conference women's soccer second team.
Switzer, an honorable mention pick last year, played stellar defense while starting 13 games and playing the fourth most minutes for the Geoducks, who finished the season with a 3-8-3 overall record.Â
Joining Switzer in earning all-conference recognition were junior midfielder
Kylie Gorton (Moscow, Idaho/Moscow HS/Walla Walla CC) and freshman midfielder
Maddie Lockwood (University Place, Wash./Curtis HS). Gorton tallied one goal and one assist while starting 13 matches, and Lockwood had an assist while starting 13 matches and playing the fifth most minutes on the team.
The all-conference team was announced Thursday night at the CCC soccer tournament banquet held Thursday night at Venue 252 in Eugene, Ore.
